Cub Scout Pack 862

To provide a positive influence for boys grades one through five by teaching and experiencing ways to strengthen their character, relationships with others and their community.  The boys are given opportunities to interact with their peers, family members and community members, helping them grow mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually and giving them an introduction to the outdoors and what is beyond the everyday city life and to experience wildlife, nature and all its surroundings.

Cub Scout Motto & Promise: Pack 862 follows the Cub Scout motto, “Do Your Best” which is instilled to all of the boys and is stated within the Cub Scout Promise.
Pack 862 meets on the 2ndand 4th Friday on each month between September and June, from 7pm to 9pm at Denker Elementary School (while the church is going through renovation).Activities include visiting the Fire Department, Police Station, local hikes, sleep over at Faith know as the” Lock In”,  Pack camping trip, and our annual  Pinewood derby.  Thanks you for your interests in Scouting.

Girl Scout Troop 8925 – 6:30pm, 2nd Sunday of each month  – rooms 17-18

A Senior Girl Scout program composed of girls predominantly around the 9th grade level, the troop focuses on service, care, and fun.   Currently, 13 of the 14 girls have achieved their Silver Award and most of the troop is working on their Gold Award.


 Girl Scout Daisy Troop – 6:00pm, 2nd and 4th Monday of each month – room 15.

Part of the Girl Scouts of the USA program, the ministry’s goal is to empower girls through discovering, connecting, and taking action in the surrounding community and world.  Geared towards girls in grades K-1st.
