Ishinomaki Mission 6/16-25/2025 For the past ten years, Faith UMC mission teams have been working with Ishinomaki Christian Center, a Japanese Christian- based organization dedicated to helping the people of Ishinomaki city recover from Japan’s 2011 earthquake and tsunami disaster. We help the outreach and evangelical efforts of the local churches as well as helping the local fishing community. The programs include meals for children, music, crafts and conversation, coffee and tea hour, ESL ministry, Hula ministry, Hikikomori NPO, etc..
